Day 22-26 (3 Weeks Late)

This is more for my writing center friends who are bored while the rest of us in the math and testing centers couldn't even go to the bathroom without having a line at our desk when we come back. One of them actually asked where my update was yesterday, more from kidding than anything else because she has seen how busy I've been this week. (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.) Any ways, I have continued the exercising this week despite the mental exhaustion. On Monday or Tuesday I got a little, "Are you still with us?" note from the internet Twit. Apparently, I am supposed to "weigh in" every Friday. I lied to her about my weight in the first place because I don't have a scale---I just estimated based on what I weighed the last time I went to a real doctor's appointment. I guess I'll have to visit K-mart or something on Fridays to weigh myself. I refuse to have a scale in my house---I won't be chained to that. She also sent instructions about how I was supposed to be doing the exercise cycles. THREE WEEKS LATE!!!! It seems that if I was given 3 sets of 15 sit ups, 3 sets of 15 bicep curls, and 3 sets of 1 minute jumping jacks in a cycle (there are 5 or 6 cycles in a days routine.), that I was supposed to do one set of each three times then move on to the next cycle. I guess that's why they call it a cycle. Sometimes I amaze myself with my idiocity. Any ways, if you do it that way, it's a lot easier. I am almost a level 1 beginner. I can almost do a minute worth of jumping jacks every third exercise. She also cut the sets back to two this week to surprise my metabolism next week when she pushes it up to 4 I am sure. This enabled me to take a mile walk in addition to the grueling exercise routine on Tuesday. I like that so much that I did it even though it was sprinkling. I truly rested Wednesday because I knew I would need to have all the sleep I could get before work because some of us actually were slammed this week because of finals. (Silly Writing Center Instuctors.) I got back into the swing of things today however, but probably wouldn't have if I didn't know that they cut a third of the sets out this week. I was truly more interested in sleep than getting in better shape this morning but stubbornness is a virtue when it comes to diet and exercise, not when it comes to other things though. Now that the newness of all this has worn off, I will likely only be updating you guys on Mondays or Fridays unless something ridiculous happens or I finally advance out of level 1 beginner and we need to celebrate.
