Five More Years and I Won't be Holding onto Forty-Something

I am having a truly sweet birthday. Turning 45 has been kind of cool. It's not scary at all to be in the last 5 years of my first half century. :)

Did I mention that it was my hammy husband's birthday too? He's 48 believe it or not.











My eighteen year old son gave me this for my birthday:





And I said, "Thanks, Matt...that was really thoughtful....:)" ...."er...what is it?"

I'll let you think about that for a while...if you have a guess....give it a try. I'll update this at the end of the week with the answer. My guess is that I am not the only one who doesn't know what that is. Well...I know now...but I didn't.

My awesome co-workers through me a party...if you look up Vickie Herzog on facebook...I use the same profile picture...I posted several pictures from the office party that was thrown. Marcia made an amazing edible bouquet...you have to see it.

I don't normally celebrate birthdays....this one was pretty cool thanks to the people who do. Yee haw!
